Treasured memories

Indeed, God sends little surprises to encourage us at times which we don't expect.

Yesterday, as I was busy doing my work, my girl came up to me after school and say, "open your mouth". Instinctively, I opened my mouth and she wanted to put something into my mouth and I said, "What's that??" She say, "Just eat, can eat one". I complied and realised it's a sweet. She gave me a smile and walked away.

My heart melted.

Another incident was two boys who came up to me holding a photo (face-down) and I was puzzled. "What's that?" I asked. They say excitedly, "Don't open first. Open only when we are out of the office" After that, they ran out laughing. I flip the photo over and there was the picture of one of the boys with rice all over his mouth.

I started laughing hilariously.

Moments like this just lift up my spirits at work. Children have an amazing way of reminding you what is important in life. Little surprises, an encouragement. They show their love in small, sweet gestures. Give your best for them and they will return with much more than u ever expected.
