Courage is not the absence of fear

Something in Pris' blog stirred some great emotions in me today:

"Do you know that Salmon returns to the exact spot where they were born to reproduce? Not just that, they would die a few days after spawning. What encourages me most is that Salmon are survivors of nature! They can go miles and miles, upstream against the currents / torrents just to go back to where they were born to produce their off springs.Mind you, upstream and against the flow. How much strength is that going to take for them to go hundred of miles? How many of us have the courage to go against a stronger power to do what we have to do?"

HOW MANY OF US HAVE THE COURAGE TO GO AGAINST A STRONGER POWER TO DO WHAT WE HAVE TO DO?

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear. ~Ambrose Redmoon
