Then the LORD replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. ~ Habakkuk 2:2-4
This is the verse I carried with me to the camp, asking God to give me a revelation so that I may record it and run with it. Indeed, His revelation awaits an appointed time and I am prepared to wait fr His timing. He can speak in the many ways I cannot prempt or expect for His ways are greater than mine, His thoughts higher than mine. The journey began before the camp when He gave me many realisations and I'm glad it's not too late to learn the lesson.
I am taking my final theory test tonight...the knowledge I have learnt needs to be tested so that I know how much have been internalised. The experience and teachings I received during my time with God (retreat, camp etc) needs to be tested as well. In the bible, the many characters are being tested in their obedience, faithfulness to God when God sends them out to do His work in speaking to the nation and bringing them to battle. What will my response be when the test comes?
"The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the LORD tests the heart." ~ Proverbs 17:3
