"Ladies, give at least 3 people around you a hug to welcome them!"
That's how the conference began for me...it's really good to be in the company of a group of godly and lovely women who love God and have impacted many lives around them. Look at the bag, it is so cool :) This is the first time I receive a goodie bag with a bag of assorted nuts and raisins for a conference! It's really so WOMEN haha... The plenary speaker talked about belonging and security from 2 Samuel 9:1-12 from the life of King David.
The story of a strong, powerful king (David) who stooped down to a person (Mephibosheth) who is everything he is not and gave him all he has. Doesn't that sound just like our wonderful God? The beauty of GRACE lies in that it does not need to be earned but is given freely to all who is willing to receive.
Is our hearts still grateful that we are are invited into His grace?
