I caught the variety show, The Moment of Truth a few days back and it was painful to watch, but apparently very entertaining and amusing for many. The questions started off easy for the guy as he had to answer questions on his gambling habits which apparently his family already seemed to know and accepted him for who he is. The answer was given quickly with assurance from mom, who kept smiling at him while his father was like, "Oh, I didn't know about that." (Oh well, now you do...)
It was kind of a breeze...until the questions came about his sex life and his commitment to his girlfriend. Lotsa oohs and ahhs from the audience. When asked by the host what he liked about her, he kept saying, "She's an attractive girl. She's pretty and she's smart...". Little did she know what is to come. When the qns came, she sat there, pursing her lips. The skeletons coming out of the closet... and it appears that his best friend knew about all his secrets, including his little sister who supposedly gave him a little black book on his 16th birthday to which she exclaimed, "No! I don't remember that".
Host: So, are you an organised person?
Guy: Yea, I would say so. Yes...I am.
Host: Did you keep a spreadsheet of the number of women you had sexual relations with?
(Audience: Gasps, ooh...ahh, ohmigosh)
(friend burying face in his hand)
(girlfriend looking shocked)
Guy: (A smile on the face)Yes... It has ratings too.
...
Th truth hurts, especially when others close to you are being put on the line as well, at the expense of the relationship.
