Whatever
"Whatever..." Have you heard this expression lately or even used it? If so, you may have been showing an indifference towards making a choice. This is a correct usage using it as an interjection. You, like me, may have also used it in a voice of disgust - "Whatever!"
It does, however, have other meanings including - "everything and anything." This is how Paul used it by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit when he wrote:
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things." Philippians 4:8
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Colossians 3:17
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Colossians 3:23
Wow! What if every time we said or heard "whatever", we let it remind us of these verses to think and do "EVERYTHING and ANYTHING" for His glory?!
