What I do is who I am

"There will always be tension between what I do and who I am because they run so closely together. A minister isn't a salesman who stops talking business after five o'clock or a dockworker who refuses to pick up a fallen box because he's off the clock. He doesn't live in the world of a retiring politician, who contents himself with leaving unfinished items for his successor. What I do is who I am and who I am is extricably connected to what I do. I am a shepherd. It wasn't something I chose as a business profession. It was something I could not escape!"

"John 15:16 reminds me:" You did not choose me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain.""

- Leading on Empty by Wayne Cordeiro

God,

There's no compartmentalising things, what I do is who I am and who I am is very much connected to what I do. My giftings shall then be used wherever I go, not just limited to one place and please show me how it can be done. When the missing jigsaw puzzle is fixed on the board, it is completed. God, I am waiting :)

With love and patience...
